About this event:

Created by Jen Davison

Join us for happy hour and conversation with ScienceOnline’s Executive Director and community-builder, Karyn Traphagen! She’ll be in town from North Carolina, and her visit offers us a perfect opportunity for a tweet-up and talk about two of our favorite subjects: science and art, how they differ, how they overlap, and how the communication of both science and art are tightly interwoven with community-building. And, Karyn’s visit coincides with the annual PhinneyWood “Big One” Art Walk, so we can do some experiential learning as well!

DATE: Friday, May 10th

TIME: Join us at 5:30 pm for no-host happy hour, then stroll along Greenwood and Phinney Avenues for the PhinneyWood Art Walk

LOCATION: Carmelita, 7314 Greenwood Ave N Seattle, WA 98103

SPECIAL GUEST: Karyn Traphagen, Executive Director of ScienceOnline and boundary-spanner in service to science communication and community-building.

Sorry folks, no live-streaming or live-tweeting from this event (well, maybe a few tweets ;))
